The Squeaky Wheel Gets The Grease

We encourage everyone in the neighborhood to stay in touch with the neighborhood association and with city agencies in charge of crime, blight, code enforcement and other issues. It is everyone's responsibility to help ensure a clean, safe neighborhood for all residents.

You do that by being vigilant. Call 9-1-1 (408-277-8911 on cell phone) to report dangerous activity or crimes in progress. Call 3-1-1 (408-277-8900 on cell phone) to report non-emergency behavior.

Remember that resources are applied where the need is greatest.  Even if an officer cannot respond immediately, your report is recorded and adds to the record.  Don't hesitate to report!

San Jose 311 App

Download the San Jose 311 app to your smart phone and use it to report graffiti, abandoned vehicles, illegal dumping, potholes, streetlight outage, or any general request.  It is quick and easy, and response is usually within 1-2 days.  Go to the Google"Play Store" (Android) or the Apple "App Store" (iPhone) to download and install the app.
