About Us/Mission

Next Meeting: January 26, 2016 at the iJava Cafe, 387 Delmas Avenue, from 6:45 PM to 8:00 PM. The neighborhood association meets bimonthly and hosts social gatherings at other times.

Where to Find Us!
The Delmas Park neighborhood is bordered by San Fernando on the north, Autumn Avenue to the west, I-280 to the south and Route 87 to the east.

Our Neighborhood
The unique Delmas Park neighborhood encompasses mixed commercial and residential areas from the early 20th century, the commercial strip of San Carlos Street and the Lakehouse Historic District. MISSION The Delmas Park Neighborhood Action Coalition's purpose is to undertake projects that:
  1. Keep the community safe, clean, and vibrant.
  2. Instill a sense of community in the neighborhood
  3. Improve the quality of life of all residents by promoting appropriate projects for infrastructure, services and community amenities.

The Neighborhood Association engages in year-round events to benefit residents including dumpster days, garage sales, the Giving Tree (Christmas), National Night Out, Neighborhood Watch, and an annual Bastille Day picnic. We try to partner with other local institutions where appropriate including our District 3 Council reps, local businesses, Guadalupe Creek Preserve, CommUnivercity, San Jose Downtown Association, and others.
